1. About this page

This page lists the categories of sub-processors that Nova System Inc. uses to provide the Meridian platform — the Polaris desktop, the Aurora mobile companion, the Island Bar widget, and supporting services. Sub-processors are bound by written terms that flow down our obligations under the Data Processing Addendum. Where required by law, we provide advance notice of new sub-processors and the right to object on reasonable grounds as described in the DPA.

For competitive and security reasons, we publish categories and purposes in this public listing. Subscribed firms may request the current provider names per category under non-disclosure by writing to legal@thenovasystem.com.

4. Apple and Google as service providers

To deliver Aurora to your device, we use Apple's App Store services (iOS) and Google's Play Store services (Android). Push notifications are routed via Apple Push Notification service and Firebase Cloud Messaging respectively. These services act as conduits to your device; we do not transmit case contents through them other than what is needed to display a notification, which we keep minimal.

5. Changes to this list

We update this list when categories of sub-processors change. Where a customer has opted into notifications, we provide advance notice as described in the DPA.
