1. The plan
Meridian is offered as a single subscription plan. The plan includes the full Meridian platform — the Polaris desktop dashboard, the Aurora mobile companion app for iOS and Android, the Sentinel policy intelligence engine covering 73 sources, the per-case AI Chat, the firm-wide AI assistant bubble, the website intake bot, document generation, the customer relationship management (CRM) module with all 11 sub-modules, workflow automation, the reconsideration engine, IRCC cheat sheets, all 13 provincial and territorial nominee program coverage, and standard email support with a 24-hour service-level response.
2. The price
The subscription fee is $299 CAD per month, plus applicable taxes. The price is tax-exclusive — the $299 figure is the platform fee only. Taxes are added on top at the rate that applies to the firm's billing address, automatically calculated by Stripe at checkout and shown on every invoice.
3. Taxes
Nova System Inc. is incorporated in the Province of British Columbia, Canada. For a firm whose billing address is in British Columbia, the applicable taxes are the federal Goods and Services Tax of 5% and the provincial Sales Tax of 7%, for a combined rate of 12%. The total monthly invoice for a BC-based firm at the standard plan rate is therefore $299.00 + $14.95 (GST) + $20.93 (PST) = $334.88 CAD.
For firms whose billing address is in other Canadian provinces, only the applicable federal GST or harmonized HST is charged. For firms outside Canada, the applicable tax rules of the firm's jurisdiction apply (for example, Value Added Tax in European Union countries, Goods and Services Tax in Australia, or no sales tax in most United States jurisdictions). Stripe Tax calculates and applies these automatically based on the firm's billing address as entered during checkout. The exact tax breakdown is shown on the Stripe-hosted checkout page before payment is confirmed.
4. Billing cadence and contract length
Subscriptions are billed monthly only. There is no annual billing option, no multi-year contract, no minimum commitment, and no early-termination penalty. Each monthly cycle is independent. A firm may cancel at any time and the subscription stays active until the end of the cycle already paid for.
5. AI conversation cap
The plan includes 500 Meridian AI Pro conversations per billing month. A Pro conversation is defined as a single user message sent to the per-case AI Chat tab, the firm-wide AI bubble, or the Aurora mobile chat surface. The website intake bot, the Sentinel impact-scoring engine, the action-suggestion engine, the document classifier, the eligibility and CRS calculators, and any other background or automated AI feature run in Meridian AI Compact mode, which is unlimited and not counted against the conversation cap.
When the firm reaches 500 Pro conversations in a billing month, the platform automatically resolves further Pro requests to Compact mode for the remainder of that month. The firm experiences continuous service — answers are produced — but reasoning depth on complex tasks is reduced. The counter resets at the start of the next monthly billing cycle.
6. Top-up packs
If the firm wishes to restore Pro mode before the next billing cycle, top-up packs are available. Each pack costs $19 CAD plus applicable taxes and provides 100 additional Meridian AI Pro conversations valid only until the end of the current billing month. Top-up packs do not roll over.
Top-ups are purchased on demand from the firm's billing dashboard via Stripe Checkout. Only a firm Owner can purchase top-ups; staff seats cannot. An optional "auto-purchase" setting is available — when enabled, a new top-up is purchased automatically when the firm reaches the cap. Auto-purchase is disabled by default; the firm controls every charge.
7. Trial
A 14-day free trial is available to new firms. The trial includes 50 Meridian AI Pro conversations and full access to every other Meridian feature. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial, the firm may choose to subscribe at the standard plan rate; no automatic conversion to a paid subscription occurs without explicit consent by the Owner.
8. Seats
The plan includes up to ten (10) staff seats. Each seat is a personal Authorized User account for one named individual at the subscribed firm. Additional seats beyond ten cost $19 CAD per seat per month, plus applicable taxes, prorated to the day the seat is added.
9. Cancellation
Cancellation is initiated by the firm Owner from the in-product billing settings, from the Stripe customer portal, or by emailing payments@thenovasystem.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. The firm retains full platform access through the end of the paid cycle. No refunds are issued for the unused portion of a partially-elapsed month, except where required by law or in the case of a verified Meridian-side service failure (see Section 11).
10. Plan changes by Nova System
Nova System Inc. may adjust the price, conversation cap, or feature scope of the plan in the future. Any such change applies only to new subscribers and to existing subscribers at their next renewal after at least 30 days' written notice. Any firm onboarded during Year 1 (defined as on or before May 14, 2027) is guaranteed the $299 CAD per month rate, the 500-conversation monthly cap, and the included-feature set as described in this document for at least twelve (12) months from the firm's signup date, regardless of any future pricing changes. This is the "founding-member rate guarantee."
11. Refunds and service credits
Service credits are governed by the Support & Service Level Agreement. Where Nova System fails to meet the published service-level guarantees, the firm is entitled to a service credit calculated as a percentage of the monthly fee, applied as a discount on the next invoice. Beyond service credits, refunds are at Nova System's discretion. We will issue a refund where a firm experienced a substantive technical or billing problem that prevented use of the platform, and where the issue is verified by Nova System support.
12. Payment methods, failed payments, and dunning
Payment is processed by Stripe. Accepted payment methods are major credit cards and pre-authorized debit where supported by Stripe in the firm's jurisdiction. If a payment fails, Stripe automatically retries up to three times over a 14-day dunning window. The firm Owner receives email notifications at each failed attempt. If the third retry fails, the platform suspends the firm's access until payment succeeds. Suspension does not delete any data; full access is restored upon successful payment.
13. Currency
All prices in this document are denominated in Canadian Dollars (CAD). Firms outside Canada are billed in Canadian Dollars; their card issuer or bank handles the currency conversion to the firm's local currency at the conversion rate applicable on the day of the charge.
14. Conflicts
This Pricing Terms document is the public, plain-language statement of pricing applicable to firms acquired through the Meridian website and self-serve checkout. In the event of conflict between this document and a signed Order Form or the Master Subscription Agreement, the Order Form or MSA controls. In the absence of a signed Order Form, this document, the Terms of Service, and the MSA together govern the commercial relationship.
