Third-Party Chat Disclosure

What you should know before talking to the Island Bar assistant.

Effective May 14, 2026 · Version 1.0

1. You are chatting with an assistant, not a person

The Island Bar assistant generates responses automatically. It is not a licensed professional. The firm operating this website may also reach out to you afterward — those follow-up messages will come from a human at the firm and will be identified as such.

2. The assistant is powered by a third-party service

To generate responses, your messages are sent to a third-party service provider that operates the underlying technology. The provider processes your messages under our agreement with them. Your messages are not used to train the provider's general models. Personal information you provide is stored in the firm's account and is handled by the firm and by us as described in the Island Bar Privacy Notice.

3. Output can be wrong

The assistant produces general information based on the message you send. It can make mistakes. It can be out of date. It does not know everything about your situation. Do not rely on its answers as legal advice, immigration advice, or a guarantee of any outcome. Always confirm with a licensed professional, including the firm operating this website.

4. Be careful what you share

Please do not enter:

  • Sensitive identifiers you do not need to share to receive a response (for example, your full passport number or SIN/SSN).
  • Financial account details, payment-card numbers, or banking credentials.
  • Information about other people unless you have their knowledge and consent.
  • Information you wish to keep private from the firm operating this website.

5. The firm will see your conversation

The firm operating this website can review the conversation and use it to respond to you. If you would like the conversation deleted, ask the firm.

6. Not a professional relationship

Using the assistant does not create a lawyer–client, consultant–client, or fiduciary relationship between you and Nova System or you and the firm. A professional relationship begins only when the firm and you agree to it in writing.

7. Reports and feedback

If the assistant returns content that seems harmful, unsafe, or wrong, tell the firm. You can also write to safety@thenovasystem.com. For privacy concerns, write to privacy@thenovasystem.com.
