If you'd like to permanently delete your Aurora / Meridian account and the personal information associated with it, you have two options.
Option 1 · From the app (fastest)
- Open Aurora on your iPhone.
- Tap the You tab in the bottom bar.
- Tap Account.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
- Confirm. Your account will be soft-deleted immediately and permanently purged within 30 days.
Note: if your firm uses Meridian as a shared workplace tool, deleting your account only removes your personal staff record. Case files and client data that belong to the firm remain in the firm's account and are managed by your firm's admin.
Option 2 · By email
If you've already lost access to the app, send an email from the address associated with your account to support@thenovasystem.com with the subject line:
Account deletion request
Please include:
- The name of your firm (e.g., "Waymark Immigration").
- The email address on your account.
- Whether you also want any voice notes, photos, or chat messages you created to be deleted (these may also live in your firm's case files).
We will confirm receipt within 1 business day and complete deletion within 30 days, as required by Canadian privacy law.
What gets deleted
- Your staff profile (name, email, phone, role, avatar).
- Your authentication credentials.
- Your push notification subscription.
- Your in-app preferences and personalization data.
- Your individual activity log.
What is retained
- Case files, client data, time entries, and documents where they belong to the firm: your firm's admin controls these per the master service agreement.
- Anonymized usage telemetry that no longer identifies you (retained indefinitely for product analytics).
- Records we are legally required to keep (e.g., billing records, audit logs related to suspected fraud or security incidents).
