About taxes: All prices are in CAD and tax-exclusive. Sales tax is added automatically based on your firm's billing address. BC firms see GST + PST, other provinces GST/HST, international firms their local rules. The exact tax appears on every invoice before you pay, so nothing surprises you at checkout.

How the AI conversation cap works

Meridian AI runs in two modes: Pro for deep case reasoning, and Compact for everything that happens automatically in the background. Compact stays unlimited and unmetered.

Pro caps by plan

250 on Starter, 1,000 on Professional, 3,000 + fair-use on Enterprise. Every question in the Chat tab, the firm AI bubble, or Aurora counts as one. The cap resets on your renewal date.

No interruption at the cap

Meridian AI switches to Compact mode for the rest of the month. You keep working, and answers are just a little less nuanced.

$15 for +100

Buy as many top-up packs as you want, when you want. Top-ups expire month-end. Auto-purchase is OFF by default, so you control every charge.

Everything else unlimited

Intake bot, AutoForm Filler, policy alerts, document handling and generation, the CRM, Aurora. None of it counts against the cap.

Can my firm sign up today?

Not yet. Firms already using Meridian keep full access. New firms can join once the next version is ready to release. Join the waitlist and we will reach out first when it opens.

Is there a contract or minimum commitment?

No. You pay monthly and can cancel anytime from your account settings or by emailing payments@thenovasystem.com. If you cancel mid-month, your subscription stays active until the end of the cycle you've already paid for. No refunds, no extensions, no games.

What's the trial?

The trial opens with the next version. 7 days of full access, no credit card required to start. You get 1 seat, 25 AI conversations, 3 auto form-fills, and 1 GB of storage to test the platform on a real case. At the end you choose a plan. We don't auto-charge anyone who didn't enter a card.

Do higher plans get extra features?

No. Every plan includes the complete platform: Polaris, Aurora, the Bar, intelligence, AI, and document generation. Plans differ only in capacity: seats, AI conversations, auto form-fills, and storage. Pick by firm size, not by feature anxiety.

Is there an annual plan?

No. We only sell monthly. No 12-month contracts, no cancellation-notice windows, no lock-in. If Meridian stops earning its place in your practice, you leave at the end of the month you've paid for.

What about taxes for firms outside Canada?

Tax is detected from your billing address and applied automatically: VAT in the EU, GST in Australia, no tax in most US states, etc. You always see the exact final amount before completing checkout.

Can I add more staff seats?

Yes. Extra seats are $25 CAD / month each on any paid plan, added from your firm dashboard. There's no hard cap on team size, and adding a seat never forces a plan upgrade.
