How the AI conversation cap works
Meridian AI runs in two modes · Pro for deep case reasoning, and Compact for everything that happens automatically in the background (intake bot, policy alert scoring, document classification). Compact mode stays unlimited and unmetered.
You get 500 Pro conversations / month
Every time you ask Meridian a question in the Chat tab, the firm AI bubble, or Aurora mobile, that's one Pro conversation. Conversations reset on your monthly renewal date.
If you reach 500, no service interruption
Meridian AI automatically switches to Compact mode for the rest of the month. You keep working · answers are just a little less nuanced. Buy a top-up at any time to restore Pro mode.
Need more? $19 for +100 conversations
Buy as many top-up packs as you want, when you want. Top-ups expire at the end of the month. Auto-purchase is OFF by default · you control every charge.
Everything else is unlimited
The intake bot, policy alerts, document classification, document generation, the CRM, your Aurora mobile app · none of it counts against the conversation cap. Only direct Meridian AI Pro conversations do.

Is there a contract or minimum commitment?
No. You pay monthly. You can cancel at any time from your account settings or by emailing payments@thenovasystem.com. If you cancel mid-month, your subscription stays active until the end of the billing cycle you've already paid for · no refunds, no extensions, no games.
What's the trial?
14 days of full access. No credit card required to start. You get 50 AI conversations during the trial to actually test the depth of the assistant. At the end of trial, you choose to subscribe · we don't auto-charge anyone who didn't enter a card.
Why one price instead of multiple tiers?
Year 1 is about building trust and references in the Canadian RCIC community. Tiers create friction and force every firm to negotiate against a feature matrix. One number, one plan, full access · and you decide if it's worth it.
What about taxes for firms outside Canada?
Stripe Tax detects your billing address and applies the correct tax automatically · VAT in the EU, GST in Australia, no tax in most US states, etc. You always see the exact final amount before completing checkout.
Can I add more than 10 staff seats?
Yes · additional seats are $19 CAD per seat per month. Add or remove seats anytime from your firm dashboard. Most firms never exceed 10.
What happens if Meridian raises prices?
Every firm onboarded in Year 1 is grandfathered at $299 CAD per month for at least 12 months from your signup date, regardless of any future pricing changes. If we ever raise prices for new customers, you keep your rate.
Who's behind Meridian?
Nova System Inc., a British Columbia corporation. The platform is built and operated by Sukhveer Khokhar, a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) · so it's tooling built by someone who uses it daily. Email info@thenovasystem.com for trial access. Within 24 hours you'll receive your firm setup link with your trial activated. Once you're ready to subscribe, Stripe Checkout handles the rest · including automatic tax calculation for BC.
